Bronshtein Shows a Pair

Nível 3 : 50/100, 150 ante

Yuval Bronshtein opened from early position and Raaid Ahmad pumped the price to what looked like 1,500. Bronshtein called and both players drew one card. Bronshtein then front-shoved for about 7,000 or so and Ahmad seemed to be tempted to call. However, he eventually laid his hand down.

Bronshtein was about to slide his hand into the muck and then he opened two of his cards, showing {3-}{3-}. Ahmad regretted that he couldn't pull off the call, but he took the beat with a laugh.

Hall Peels What He Needs

Nível 3 : 50/100, 150 ante
Galen Hall (as seen in a previous event)
Galen Hall (as seen in a previous event)

Galen Hall raised under the gun, Darren Elias three-bet to 1,800, and the player in the big blind called. Hall, however, countered with a four-bet shove of his 7,650 stack. Elias reshoved and the other player left the contest.

Hall discarded one and showed that it was a ten. Elias patted and opened {10-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Hall turned up {8-}{5-}{4-}{2-}. He slowly peeled his new card, needing a three, six, seven or a nine to stay on his first bullet. Hall rolled over the {3-Clubs} to finish with the nut eight. That huge double propelled Hall to more than 17,000 while Elias dropped to around 2,300.

Vieira Runs into a Seven

Nível 3 : 50/100, 150 ante

The action was seen after the draw with three players battling for a pot. Joao Vieira faced a bet of 600 and a call, and he bumped the price to 3,400. His first opponent responded with a shove for 8,275. He forced one fold but the action stopped at Vieira who asked for the count and then called. However, he was shown the {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} and while he briefly flashed his hand, it quickly went into the muck. The tough beat saw Vieira's stack plummet to the last 800.

Owen Finds a Double

Nível 3 : 50/100, 150 ante

Adam Owen made it 250 from early position and his neighbor three-bet to 1,000. Owen called and they both peeled one card. Owen then moved all in for 1,050 and his opponent threw in one chip to confirm the call.

"Seven," Owen announced, quickly proving it by rolling over {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}. Owen doubled but he's still maneuvering less than half of the starting stack.

D'Angelo Makes a Painful Fold

Nível 4 : 75/150, 225 ante

There had been a three-bet of 2,100 lying in front of Ryan D'Angelo when the action was caught, and the action was back at the former champion as the opener had four-bet shoved for 7,700. D'Angelo took over a minute to contemplate his decision, cutting out the calling chips. However, he eventually decided to fold his cards and the hand concluded predraw.

Puchkov Makes the Right Decision

Nível 4 : 75/150, 225 ante

Konstantin Puchkov was in the big blind, facing a raise to 500 from the small blind. Puchkov three-bet to 1,750 but his opponent wasn't willing to go anywhere. He shoved for 11,600 and Puchkov spent about two minutes before calling.

After seeing his opponent stand pat, Puchkov paused again and weighed pros and cons of breaking his hand. Ultimately, he decided to pat again and the cards were turned up.

Puchkov learned that he made the right decision as his {10-}{9-}{7-}{6-}{4-} bested his rival's {j-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}. Puchkov scored an elimination and the sizeable addition to his stack helped him to approach the 30,000-mark.
