Noam Busted After Drawing Very Poorly

Nível 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Danny Noam
Danny Noam

A-5 Triple Draw

Danny Noam got 10,000 of his 10,500 in from the big blind before the draw, with David "ODB" Baker and Josh Arieh playing to the first pull as well. Noam and Baker took two and Arieh one. Noam bet the last 500, Baker called and Arieh raised. Baker called and everyone drew the same number. Baker check-called in the side pot. Noam still needed two, Baker one and Arieh patted.

Baker check-folded and Arieh showed {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}{a-}. Noam laughed and showed {10-}{10-} then spun the rest of his cards to the muck.

Rice has the Nut-Nut

Nível 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Badacey

Jack Rice and Benny Glaser got through all three draws with a significant pile of chips in the pot. Rice put in a final bet and Glaser called. Rice tabled his hand and Glaser took a good look.

"You have the nut-nut?" Rice did indeed have the best possible badacey hand with the {a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, scooping the pot and improving to 87,000 chips.

Ickow Catches a Strong Board

Nível 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Todd Ickow had a pair of queens up and fired fifth street against Brayden Gazley, who had three Broadways himself. Ickow then picked up open two pair on sixth.

Todd Ickow: {x-}{x-}/{q-Spades}{6-Spades}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Brayden Gazlay: {x-}{x-}/{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Ickow bet again and Gazlay gave it up.

Altbregin Out on The Bubble

Nível 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Sergey Altbregin bubbled out of the tournament on an unlucky runout, and the remaining players are now in the money! Altbregin went all in for his last 8,300 and Michael Ross called:

Sergey Altbregin: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Michael Ross: {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

Altbregin looked like he had a good chance to at least chop this pot and survive for another hand, but the set came in for Ross on the {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop. The {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} runout sealed the deal, and Altbregin heads to the rail short of the money.

With 71 places paid in this event, the remaining players will all cash for at least $2,250.

Sick Hand Sees Campbell Quartered

Nível 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
Robert Campbell
Robert Campbell

Big O

We didn't see when the money went in, but cards were on their backs in a monster pot between Andrew Barber and Robert Campbell with both players holding extremely large hands.

The board read {3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Campbell had {a-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for the nut low and fives full. However, it was no good as Barber held {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a straight flush with the same low, good for three-quarters of the pot.

Ross Whiffs

Nível 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Mike Ross raised in the cutoff and Tom Franklin called on his left. They both drew two and Ross bet, with Franklin calling. Ross took one and Franklin two more, and Ross bet and got called again. Ross took a final card and Franklin was pat.

Both players checked and Franklin showed a {10-}. Ross indicated it was good and {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} followed. Ross showed {2-}{3-}{4-}{5-} for a wheel draw but he had caught an {a-} for the wrong sort of wheel.
