Silver Wins a Multi-Way Pot

Nível 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Mike Leah min-raised under the gun and Danny Noam called in the next seat. Three more calls followed, including one from Max Silver who was in the small blind.

All five players checked the {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Silver led out 1,300 on the {3-Diamonds} turn, earning a call from Noam and a player on the button. The {K-Spades} appeared on the river and Silver fired 2,000, enough to get rid of both of his remaining opponents.

Zinno Takes One

Nível 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

There were 3,175 chips in the middle and the complete board of {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} was out when we got to the table. The player in the big blind bet 1,200 and Anthony Zinno raised to 3,000 from the button.

"You bluffing?" asked the big blind as he considered his decision. "I got a flush."

Ultimately, the big blind folded and the dealer pushed the pot Zinno's way.

"I had three jacks," Zinno said as he stacked his newly acquired chips.

Unstoppable Silver

Nível 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Max Silver has been shredding his table so far. Midway through the third level of play, Silver has already amassed over 70,000 in chips. He recently knocked out one of his short-stacked opponents when they got the money in with Silver holding the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Silver hit an ace on the flop and a queen on the river and magnetized some more chips with the top two pair while the other hand was mucked before we could spot it.

Good News, Bad News for Stout

Nível 3 : 75/150, 0 ante
Matt Stout earlier this summer

With about 1,500 chips in the pot and the board reading {Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, action checked to the button and he bet 600. Matt Stout check-raised to 3,075 from the hijack and, after brief consideration, the button called.

The {10-Spades} hit the turn and Stout announced "pot," putting himself all in for 4,125. The button went into the tank.

"The good news is it's PLO," said the button.

"The bad news is it's PLO," Stout replied.

After a bit more banter, the button called to put Stout at risk.

Matt Stout: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Button: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}

Stout had the lead with top pair, a flush draw, and an open-ended straight draw, while his opponent had little hope of winning the pot. The final card was the {3-Diamonds} which gave both players a seven-high straight, so they chopped the pot.

Safe Double for Mustafov

Nível 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

On the flop of {7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}, Fahredin Mustafov checked from under the gun and then shoved for 4,600 over a 1,300-bet from the cutoff. Mustafov received a call and found himself in tremendously good shape as his {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} was crushing his rival's {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. The {10-Hearts} turn and {10-Clubs} river locked a double for the Bulgarian.

Leng Stacks Two

Nível 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

There was a substantial pot already brewing and the {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop was out when we got to the table. The under-the-gun player had just committed the last of his stack against two opponents: Ryan Leng in the big blind and recent PLO GIANT runner-up Pete Arroyos in the small blind. The dealer was in the process of verifying the bets and creating the side pot. When the chips had settled, there was about 4,200 in the side pot and 6,500 in the main pot.

The {J-Clubs} hit the turn and Arroyos shoved for what looked like 9,000. Leng called with a covering stack and all three players tabled their hands.

Ryan Leng: {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-}
Pete Arroyos: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Under the gun: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

Arroyos had the advantage with aces up and both of his opponents needed to improve to win. The final card was the {J-Spades} which gave Leng trip jacks, so he took the pot to stack both Arroyos and the under-the-gun player.
