So THAT Happened: Which Poker Player is Crushing Twitter

Nível 14 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

It is time for the 2nd WSOP Edition of So THAT Happened. This week, Sasha Salinger scours Twitter and comes up with some gems from the poker community. Manig Loeser certainly wins for the most Vegas picture of the week. Joe Cheong and Jordan Cristos exchange some harsh words and, lastly, Sasha does exactly what [Removed:412] tell her not to!

Katz Doubles, Leaves Wolansky Short

Nível 14 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Cary Katz got most of his money in preflop against Steven Wolansky and said he "must be beat" but nonetheless committed his last 2,000 on the {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop with {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}. It was good though as Wolansky had {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Katz doubled when the board ran out {4-Clubs} and {8-Diamonds}.

Kruk on Fumes After Dropping Two

Nível 14 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Gregory De Bora raised in middle position and called a three-bet from Christopher Kruk in the cutoff. De Bora check-raised the {3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and slowed down with a check-call on the {a-Clubs} turn. On the {k-Diamonds} river, De Bora came out betting again. Kruk thought for a bit and called but couldn't beat {k-Spades}{9-Spades} for trips.

The next hand, the board read {4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Scott Seiver check-called against Kruk out of the big blind. Both checked the {5-Clubs} river and Seiver showed {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} to take it down.

There was already more than 50,000 in the pot on a board of {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Tony G put his last 6,000 in the middle and Gregory De Bora called. Tony G showed an over pair with {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} but De Bora was holding {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} for a turned set of fives. The river {6-Diamonds} sealed the deal for De Bora and Tony G was eliminated.
