Kolev Chipping Up

Nível 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

Yuliyan Kolev has increased his stack so far on Day 1. The most recent chips were acquired in a hand that went three-handed to the flop, after Kolev three-bet an early position open and was called by one player behind as well as the initial raiser.

The flop came {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and following one check, Kolev checked as well and the last player to act made it 1,200. This got the early position player out of the way, but not Kolev who called.

The turn was a {6-Clubs} and this time it went check-check. Finally a {9-Spades} was bet on the river. Kolev led for 1,500 and after a little hesitation, he was called.

Kolev turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and it was good to win the pot.

Renz Doubles Through Paredes

Nível 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

A player in late position raised to 500 and David Paredes reraised to 1,500 from the cutoff. Jeremy Renz flat called from the big blind and the original raiser folded. They went heads up to the {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop and both players checked.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Renz led out with a bet of 2,200. Paredes called and the {6-Hearts} completed the board. Renz knuckled the felt, Paredes bet 4,000 and Renz snap called for his last 3,700. "You're good" said Paredes without showing his hand and Renz table his {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} to double up.

On the {9-Spades} river, Hills moved all-in for 13,650 and after a couple of minutes in the tank, his opponent called. He mucked when seeing Hills' set of {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}.
