Rystadt Doubles Through Geci

The flop read and Curtis Rystadt was all-in for 51,200 from the small blind and Endrit Geci called on the button with the bigger stack.

"It was nice playing with you Curtis!" Richard Alati said.

Rystadt had two over cards and Geci had flopped top pair.

The rest of the board was completed with the on the turn to give Rystadt the higher pair and the on the river didn't change the situation. Rystadt doubled up.

"What I meant is, it is so nice playing with you, I don't want you to leave!" Alati quipped quickly.

Phil Hellmuth had been the short stack for a while but after the last hand, he is not anymore. After a 3,500 open from Nikolai Sears, James Worth, Phil Hellmuth and Jack Shea all came along to see a flop.

The dealer put out and it was checked all round. It was the turned that generated the action though. After three checks, Hellmuth put 7,000 over the line and Shea upped it to 17,000. This got everyone else out of the way and Hellmuth moved all-in for just 8,400 more. It was a snap-call from Shea and they turned their cards on their backs.

There were just two outs to pull this one back for Shea and but the river was safe for Hellmuth and he collected. This left Shea the shortest at the table.

Sears and Lakhov Get Tangled Up

There was an open to 2,600 by Nikolai Sears on the button and a three-bet to 8,600 by Alexander Lakhov.

The dealer put out on the flop and it went check-check.

On to the turn and this time Lakhov made a bet of 7,000. Sears made the call.

Finally, the river came and Lakhov barreled, making it 11,000. It was enough to get a fold and he took down the pot.

Rusziankov bet 3,000 when the came on the flop and Blumstein check-called.

Hellmuth Pulls a Little Back

The last few hands have been opened from under-the-gun and in the most recent, it was Thomas Taylor who started the ball rolling with a raise to 2,500. He found two calls from the blinds, from HHellmuth in the small and Shea in the big.

The flop came and it was checked all round. The turn saw a 6,000 lead from Hellmuth and it netted him the pot. "What, you didn't have ace-king?" He asked as he scooped the chips.
