River is Good for Shauer to Crack Aces

Nível 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

The board read {2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and an opponent from the hijack bet 400 into a pot around 525. Scott Shauer called from the cutoff and the turn fell the {j-Hearts}.

The hijack bet 600 and Shauer again called to the river, which came the {6-Hearts}. Action checked to Shauer who then bet 1,000, the hijack opponent called and tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for a pair of aces. Shauer showed {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a rivered flush and enough to take down the pot.

TJ Cloutier
TJ Cloutier

Alan Marks raised to 350 from under the gun and TJ Cloutier moved all in for his last 950. It folded back to Marks who called turning over {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Cloutier showed {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}.

The {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop was no help to Cloutier but he paired his ace to take the lead when the {a-Diamonds} hit the turn. The {j-Hearts} completed the board and Cloutier doubled up.

Moore Building Back Up After Slow Start

Nível 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

James Moore opened to 300 from under the gun and was called by the cutoff. The big blind called as well and the flop came {9-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Moore lead for 700 and both of his opponents thought for a moment before making the fold. Moore seems to be a specialist in this format and field type, look for him to build up a stack later in the day.

Dyer Building a Healthy Stack

Nível 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Raiford Dyer opened to 400 from under the gun, an early position opponent called, the cutoff called, and the small blind then moved all in for 600. All players called and the flop came {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Action checked to the cutoff who bet 650, both Dyer and the early position player called. The turn fell the {9-Clubs} and Dyer then moved all in for around 5,500. The early position opponent called his remaining 2,000 and the cutoff folded. All three remaining players then revealed their hands.

The initial all in tabled {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and the early position opponent then showed {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. When Dyer flipped over {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} the other players knew they were drawing dead to the {5-Diamonds} on the river. Dyer took down the pot and has a healthy stack starting to take shape.
