Even though David Bach is out of this years $50,000 Poker Player's Championship, he will still be remembered for his victory back in 2009. It was a memorable final table at the 40th annual World Series of Poker, not just Bach winning the Chip Reese Memorial trophy, and his first gold bracelet, but for the length of the final table.
An astonishing 20-hour final table, which featured 492 hands and a seven-hour heads-up battle. Bach emerged triumphant on the stroke of 10 a.m. after seeing off John Hanson to win $1,276,802 in prize money.
Bach topped a 95-player field, with the likes of Tony G, Ray Dehkharghani, Mike Wattel, Erik Seidel and Gus Hansen finishing in the money. Here are the final table results:

With all the money entering the pot on the turn as the board read with two spades, Jerry Wong was all in holding for the nut straight.

During No-Limit Hold'em, Alaei opened to 4,500 from middle position, and Christopher Kruk defended from the big blind.
