Eric Kurtzman was down to his last 900, so he put in a raise over a completion and got the rest in on fourth street three ways against Robert Campbell and James Woods. Campbell went three to a low on fifth and bet out Woods.

Campbell: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}/{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Woods: {x-}{x-}/{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Spades} (folded on fifth street)
Kurtzman: {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}/{8-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Spades}

Kurtzman was good for the moment for half of the pot with eights. He caught the {4-Diamonds} and Campbell the {j-Clubs}. Campbell caught the {7-Spades} on the end though, leaving Kurtzman dead to a straight and a low.

"Gutshot straight," Kurtzman muttered.

"You won't make it far going for gutshot straights," someone at the table joked.

Shannon Petluck bet on fourth which was enough to put him all in and the third player in the hand folded. Mike Ross called.

"I'm rolled up," Petluck said showing {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}.

Ross had {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} under and would need to hit some running cards to catch up.

In the end their boards read as follows:

Ross did pick up outs on the {8-Diamonds} fifth and the {K-Spades} sixth gave him a few more, but he ended up with just trip jacks on seventh, which was not quite good enough to eliminate Petluck.

"You're welcome," Ross said to Petluck after the hand.

"Yeah, thanks for the seven chip pot," Petluck joked. "Let the record show that I am extremely grateful for this pot."

"You're a really good friend of mine, but I would've loved to knock your ass out, Shannon," Ross said after the hand.

Phil Hellmuth completed and he was called by Mike Matusow. Hellmuth bet again on fourth and Matusow called.

"You don't believe me or what, Mikey?" Hellmuth asked.

"You know what Phil," Matusow said. "I really don't believe you."

On fifth, Hellmuth bet again and Matusow called. Matusow called again on sixth when Hellmuth bet.

On seventh, Hellmuth bet again. Matusow went into the tank.

"It wasn't that I didn't believe you, Phil," Matusow said. "I just picked up a flush draw.

Matusow showed his {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a pair and a flush draw, then mucked.

"Ahh, now it makes sense," Hellmuth said. "You know I'm playing tight."

Hellmuth flashed Matusow his cards, then mucked his hand and raked in the pot. Matusow just nodded as he was knocked down to under 5,000 chips.

Adam Owen completed and was called by Eli Elezra and one other player. On fourth, Owen continued with a bet and was called by both players. On fifth, Owen slowed down with a check and Elezra took over the betting action, putting one out there. The player next to him called and Owen called as well.

On sixth, action checked to Elezra who bet again. The other player in the hand thought for a bit before folding.

"Nice fold," Elezra said, smirking. "Very disciplined."

Owen called and the two went to seventh. There, both players checked. Owen showed his {K-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for two pair and Elezra laughed, saying that he had diamonds as well and showing {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for just a pair of tens. Owen earned the whole pot and chipped up a bit while Elezra dropped to right around 20,000.
