Welcome back to the final day of Event #17: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed here at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. In total, there were 1,663 players that sat down over the past two days, but only 27 of them will return today at noon local time. With a first-place prize of $378,743 and the coveted gold WSOP bracelet on the line, the action for today is expected to be full-on, especially with the six-handed format.
The player in the lead is the German Gabriel Baumgartner with 987,000 in chips, but he is closely followed by the Belgian Alexandro Tricarico with 983,000. These two players have actually been drawn onto the same table for today which they will share with another Belgian, Bart Lybaert (716,000) who also finished in the top five of the chip counts. Also on the table is one-time WSOP bracelet winner Ryan D’Angelo (585,000) and Alexandr Lipkin (346,000).
Third in the chip counts is Luke Brereton from the United Kingdom with 767,000 in chips who will be sharing the felt with Kanzuki Ikeuchi (710,000) and Ivan Deyra (237,500). Yue Du (749,000) will be seated at the same table as Jamie Rosen (638,000) and Pierre Calamusa (690,000). Other players to keep an eye on include bracelet winners Nick Schulman, Tristan Wade who both have 280,000 in chips, Joey Weissman (364,000), and Adrian Buckley with only 72,000 which is seven big blinds.
The 27 remaining players will return to play Level 21 with a small blind of 5,000, big blind of 10,000, and the running ante of 1,000. Levels will last 60 minutes each with a 15-minute break after every two levels. A 60-minute dinner break will take place after the first six levels have been played.

Ivan Deyra raised from the cutoff and Luke Brereton three-bet to 45,000 from the big blind. Deyra reacted by moving all in, and his opponent called.

Brereton took a big lead after flopping the nut flush, and Deyra's elimination was confirmed by the turn. The Frenchman departed in 27th place for $11,987 as Brereton becomes the first player to break the 1M-chip mark.

Adrian Buckley was all in with against Oliver Biles who held
. Biles needed help to survive and found it after the board ran out to give him the nut flush.
Buckley was left with just 44,000 (four big blinds) but was able to hit two rivers in two hands to move back up to 220,000.
In the first hand, Tristan Wade raised to 21,000 and Buckley put his stack into the middle.
