Bohdan Slyvinksyi
Bohdan Slyvinksyi

Bohdan Slyvinskyi and Dylan Linde were both all in, and their cards were face up on the table.

Bohdan Slyvinskyi: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Dylan Linde: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

Board: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}

In the very next hand, Slyvinskyi limped for 12,000 before Romain Villar made it 30,000 on the button. Linde was in the small blind for 6,000 and put the rest of his 16,000 chips into the middle. Slyvinskyi then raised Villar to 84,000, and the latter went into thinking mode. He thought through his decision for a couple of minutes before folding.

Bohdan Slyvinskyi: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Dylan Linde: {K-Spades}{3-Clubs}

Board: {8-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Linde was the man to hit the much needed king on this occasion and he survived though is still short.

Another Double

Nível 24 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Royce Matheson
Royce Matheson

The players at risk are holding in there, and this time it was Royce Matheson who was on the receiving end. Romain Lewis opened with a raise from early position, and Matheson made the call in the big blind before checking to Lewis on a {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Lewis continued with a bet of 75,000 and Matheson went all in. Lewis was unsure of his next move and was visually thinking through what he should do. Matheson was waiting patiently for a decision, and eventually, he got the call.

Royce Matheson: {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Romain Lewis: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Turn: {5-Hearts}
River: {6-Hearts}

Matheson was ahead with top pair, but Lewis had many outs with a higher flush draw and gutshot straight draw. But the Frenchman could not hit any of them and Matheson earned the vital double.

Shaun Deeb Eliminated in 16th Place ($11,553)

Nível 24 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Stephen Song called for 20,000 under the gun before Shaun Deeb, and Benjamin Moon also called in middle position. Bohdan Slyvinskyi raised it up to 85,000 from the button, Song folded, but Deeb called as did Moon.

Slyvinskyi bet 115,000 after he was checked to on a flop of {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Deeb moved all in. The action was on Moon at this point, and he used a bit of thinking time before also putting his last 270,000 into the middle. Slyvinskyi was facing the two shoves but quickly called.

Bohdan Slyvinskyi: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Shaun Deeb: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Benjamin Moon: {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

Turn: {7-Hearts}
River: {k-Diamonds}

Moon had hit a set of deuces on the flop and was well ahead of both Deeb and Slyvinskyi who held a pair of aces respectively. Moon improved to a full house on the turn and by the river had trebled his stack, left Slyvinskyi short and had Deeb heading to the payout desk.

It was a great run for Deeb who had been multi-tabling this event alongside Event #14: $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw both yesterday and today, ultimately finishing in third-place for $36,330.
