The board read when we found Paul Tedeschi heads up with an opponent. Tedeschi had first action on the turn and fired out a bet of 2,850. His opponent flatted, allowing the to hit the felt on the turn.
Tedeschi came out with a bet of what looked to be 4,800. His opponent instantly called and Tedeschi turned over for kings and nines. His two pair turned out to be the second best hand, however, as his opponent flipped up for trip nines. With this hit, Tedeschi is now down to about 135,500 in chips.

After an under-the-gun player opened for 1,900 and another player in middle position called, online superstar Hac "trex313" Dang came along from the big blind to make it three-way action to the flop, which the trio checked.
Checks from each player followed on both the turn and river, which prompted Dang to table the for a pair of sevens. It was good as both Dang's opponents sent their cards to the muck.

One of Australia's finest poker talents, Jeff Rossiter, has just been knocked out from the Main Event. Rossiter started the day with little chips and despite doubling through Marvin Rettenmaier early on he just lost his last chips.
According to Rettenmaier, Rossiter ended up all in with pocket sixes for about 10,000 chips and he was up against two tens. The board brought no help and Rossiter, who cashed twice at this year's World Series of Poker, left the tournament area.

We haven’t seen Gabriel Nassif play a whole lot of pots today but his tight image saw a first position raise from him take the antes and blinds. Not even big stack Seamus Cahill in the big blind was prepared to give him a spin.
Nassif was in the big blind next hand and facing a raise from small blind Anton Makiievskyi to 1,800. Nassif made the call and the two players went to a flop of .
Makiievskyi bet 2,100 and Nassif made the call to see the turn card . Makiievskyi then check-called a 4,200 bet and the river completed the board. Checked to Nassif, he bet 8,500 and although Makiievskyi gave him a sceptical stare he released his hand and the pot was pushed Nassif’s way.

Smith:
Opponent:
Smith didn't have as many outs as he may have expected, since only his flush draw was live. He bricked it as the last two streets came and then , and Smith doubled his opponent up.
Despite the setback, Smith has gained considerable chips since we last checked on him.
