Drover Drowned

Nível 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Action folded around to the short-stacked Mark Drover in the cutoff and he moved all in for his last 9,000. The button and small blind bowed out and Kevin Poel snap-called from the big blind.

Drover: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Poel: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The dealer laid out a {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{j-Clubs}{k-Clubs} board and Drover was eliminated in 142nd for $2,147.

Big Double for Louviere

Nível 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

A preflop raising war resulted in Christopher Louviere getting his stack of 32,400 all in and in a dominant position against his opponent.

Louviere: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Both players shared a queen, which meant Louviere's superior kicker made him a heavy favorite. The {10-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop brought a king, but that was no sweat for Louviere as he also found an ace. Neither the {10-Clubs} turn nor {5-Diamonds} rover changed a thing, and Louviere received an early double.

Hallee Rolls Royce

Nível 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

After a player opened for 1,200, Royce Cohen three-bet all in for 19,700. Action folded around to Jason Hallee in the cutoff and he promptly moved all in over the top. The button and both blinds folded, as did the original raiser, and the cards were turned up.

Cohen: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Hallee: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

It was a classic flip, but Cohen needed to his hand to improve to stay alive. He failed to do it on the {3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, and the {J-Spades} turn was also a swing and a miss. It was down to the river for Cohen, but salvation would not come as the {5-Spades} blanked.
