Beaumont Bowls Them Over

Nível 31 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Lynn Beaumont kicked off the action with a raise to 250,000 from the hijack seat and Austin Bursavich called from the cutoff as well as Thayer Rasmussen in the big blind.

The dealer flipped over {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts} for the flop and the players checked to Bursavich. He bet out 415,000 and both of his opponents made the call to go to a turn of {5-Diamonds}.

Once again, the action was checked to Bursavich who bet 980,000 this time. Rasmussen had had enough and threw away his hand, but Beaumont still saw something she liked and made the call.

The river card was the {5-Hearts} and Beaumont checked again. Bursavich said "I'm all in," with his stack easily covering Beaumont's. She took only a couple of moments to decide to call, risking her tournament life. She showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for two pairs — aces and the fives on the board. Bursavich showed {3-Clubs}{3-Spades} for an underpair to go with the fives, and he shook is head in disbelief at the absurd amount of chips he had lost in a single hand.

Mark Peckham Doubles Through Robert Gustafsson

Nível 31 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Robert Gustafsson opened to 250,000 in middle position and Mark Peckham three-bet shoved for 935,000 from the hijack. Action folded back to Gustafsson who called with {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, leading Peckham's {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

However, the board ran out {A-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}, giving Peckham a pair of aces to double up.

Mark Allen Eliminated in 24th Place ($50,202)

Nível 31 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante
Mark Allen - 24th place
Mark Allen - 24th place

Joseph McKeehen opened the cutoff to 240,000 and Mathew Frankland called from the button before Mark Allen moved all in for 720,000 from the small blind. Zachary Gruneberg made the call from the big as both McKeehen and Frankland folded.

Allen: {A-Spades}{5-Spades}
Gruneberg: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

With Allen in dominated shape, the {Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} board would ensure his elimination in 24th place as Gruneberg climbed to roughly 10.6 million in chips.

Parenti Doubles Up

Nível 31 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Sitting in early position, Nathaniel Parenti pushed all in and the action folded to Steven Levy with the button. After sizing up how much the shove was for, Levy pushed all in over the top and just the two of them went to a race.

Parenti: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Levy: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The flop came down {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to add a diamond draw for security, taking away an ace and a king from Levy's outs. The turn was the {q-Diamonds} to complete the flush, and the river was the {a-Hearts}. Parenti secured the double up with his {8-Diamonds} contributing to the flush.

Michael Beattie Eliminated in 25th Place ($50,202)

Nível 31 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante
Michael Beattie - 25th place
Michael Beattie - 25th place

The action folded to Michael Beattie and he moved all in for 890,000. Christoph Csik called next to act before Nicholas Pupillo three-bet all in for 2,615,000. The blinds passed, and with Csik needing to call an additional 1,725,000, he eventually made the call to put two players at risk.

Beattie: {K-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Csik: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Pupillo: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}

With Pupillo in fantastic shape to more than double, the {3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop changed little, but the {A-Clubs} on the turn gave Pupillo top set while also giving both Beattie and Csik flush draws.

The dealer burned and turned the {6-Spades} on the river to ensure Pupillo soared to 6.4 million as Csik slipped to 630,000 and Beattie headed to the rail in 25th place for a $50,202 payday.

Quang Tran - 26th place
Quang Tran - 26th place

Quang Tran shoved from middle position for about 540,000 and was called by Austin Bursavich in the small blind.

Tran: {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Bursavich: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop fell {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to give Tran the lead with a pair of jacks, but the {10-Hearts} fell on the turn to give Bursavich trip tens. The {3-Hearts} river failed to save Tran, who collects $50,202 for his 26th-place finish.
