Calvin Anderson raised to 24,000 from the button and then called when John Monnette three-bet to 36,000 from the small blind. Monnette drew one card, Anderson two, and then the latter called a bet of 12,000.
Monnette stood pat on the second draw, Anderson drew two, and then Monnette bet 24,000. Anderson called and then drew one on the final draw after Monnette had stood pat. Monnette bet a final 24,000 and Anderson must have missed as he released his hand, dropping to 26,500 in the process.
Fortunately for Anderson, he managed a double when the game changed over to no-limit hold'em.
