Don't Miss Multi-Table Madness On WSOP.com

Nível 1 : 400/800, 100 ante

Inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino isn't the only place for you to satisfy your World Series of Poker appetite. WSOP.com is the leading online poker site in Nevada and has plenty of action running around the clock, seven days a week.

All summer long, a special promotion labeled Multi-Table Madness will be running from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. PST each night. The promotion will select one random hand at a random cash-game table during those hours that will award every player dealt into the hand with a cash bonus up to $100.

What's more is that WSOP.com will be sweetening the prize by giving players as much as $100 more for each additional table they're playing at during the time of the drawing. That means if you're playing in four different cash games when your table is selected, you could walk away with up to $400 in bonus money.

McCormick Slays Chiu

Nível 2 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Tom McCormick, who made the final table of the $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em event last week, just put an end to David Chiu's fast start here in the $10,000 Stud 8.

McCormick: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Chiu: {x-}{x-} / {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Four handed, McCormick and Chiu started a raising war that saw them put in three bets and get heads-up going to fifth street. McCormick fired again and although Chiu called, he folded to even more aggression on sixth.

More Late Entrants

Nível 2 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

A handful of new players just entered the Amazon Room and took their seats in the Orange Section of the Amazon Room. Among them was Phil Ivey, who's been missing in action for the last few days.

Well, with a few hundred thousand dollars on the line in bracelet bets, Ivey is back and in the hunt for number 10.

"Pretty Big Pot" for Hastings

Nível 2 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Mike Leah: {x-}{x-} / {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts} / {x-}

Kessler checked on seventh street, Hastings tossed out a bet, and only Leah called. Hastings revealed {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for a straight and a seven-low, and Leah mucked.

"Pretty big pot," Leah said after the hand.

"I would say so," Hastings responded.

Ivey Left Ashore

Nível 2 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Phil Ivey, who rumor has it has been away from the Rio the past few days killing it in some local cash game, sat down and found himself in a hand right off the bat.

Ivey: {x-}{x-} / {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} / {x-}
Bruno Fitoussi: {x-}{x-} / {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} / {x-}

The action began with the player holding the ace taking the lead. Ivey led out with a bet after making a pair on fifth. Everybody called and the aces bet sixth. Fitoussi layed his hand down when the player with aces bet again on seventh, but Ivey made the call, only to muck when he was shown {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for the boat.

After the hand, Ivey explained to a few people around the room where he'd been the past few days.

"Sometimes you got to miss a tournament or two," he said with a smile. "It's just what the situation calls for."

If It Weren't for Luck...

Nível 2 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Allen Kessler was just caught bemoaning his bad luck after chopping a pot.

Kessler: {a-}{2-} / {a-}{4-}{7-}{6-} / {7-}
Opponent: {6-}{7-} / {7-}{5-}{8-}{9-} / {9-}

"Aren't I supposed to scoop there?" he asked. "Aces up with a seven low."

"You're not Phil Ivey," said Abe Mosseri.

"That's right," added Mike Matusow. "One's going to the Hall of Fame, the other to the Hall of Shame."

Seiver and Zaichenko Chopped

Nível 2 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

John Hennigan: {x-}{x-} / {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} / {x-}
Andrey Zaichenko: {x-}{x-} / {2-Hearts}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs} / {x-}
Scott Seiver: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{8-Spades}{k-Spades}{9-Hearts} / {x-}

Zaichenko led out for a bet on fifth street, Seiver and Hennigan both called, and a fourth player made it two bets. All three players called.

On fifth, the action checked to the raiser, who bet, and again all three players called. The quartet all checked on seventh street, and Hennigan showed {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for an eight-seven low. The raiser tabled {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{x-} for a straight, and Zaichenko and Seiver both mucked.
