Max Silver just doubled up Leonid Markin a couple of hands ago, but now he got those chips back as he just eliminated his Russian opponent who started out the day as the chip leader.
Silver opened the hijack for 16,000 and called Markin's shove without asking for a count or taking any time at all for his decision. Silver had what explained the quick call, Markin tabled

While we had our attention on Ashton Griffin (more about him and his exit in the next post), Erick Lindgren and Scott Clements got into it on table 353. On an board Lindgren had shoved all in for 225,000. Lindgren, in the hijack, was awaiting Clements' decision. From the button he made the call after some thinking.
