Flack Flanks Petersen

Nível 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Layne Flack opened the button to 3,000 and the small blind quickly released. Mickey Petersen in the big blind shoved all in for 40,300 total and Flack made the call after some hefty thinking.

Flack: {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Petersen: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

While Petersen was the player all in, this hand was crucial for Flack as well with just 11,000 behind if he would lose. The {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop was terrific for Flack, but he wasn't safe just yet. The {6-Hearts} on the turn was a good card for Petersen, but the {J-Clubs} on the river was a blank and the EPT Copenhagen winner made his exit. Flack in the meantime if up to almost a 100,000.

Kaverman KO's Moorman

Nível 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Chris Moorman raised to 2,700 from under the gun, Byron Kaverman moved all in for effectively 24,800 out of the big blind, and Moorman called.

Moorman: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Kaverman: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

It was a classic race situation, and the American never trailed as the board ran out {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. Moorman hit the rail, while Kaverman is up to 116,000 chips.

Clements Busts Torelli

Nível 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Alec Torelli started out the day as one of the shortest stacks and didn't make a comeback. He had to fold in a pot just minutes ago where his neighbor check-raised him all in on {Q-}{J-}{10-}, leaving himself with just 16,000 behind.

He shoved those 13 big blinds in with {10-}{8-} off suit and received a call from Scott Clements who held {A-}{7-}, according to Marc-Andre Ladouceur. The best hand pre flop was also the best hand post river, and Torelli made his exit.

With just three players remaining at the table, play stopped for about a minute. With a table quickly broken, Faraz Jaka and Jason Koon joined the table and play commenced again.

Jacobson Sacrifices Lam

Nível 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Martin Jacobson (Day 1)
Martin Jacobson (Day 1)

Simon Lam was the first player to act, and he moved all in for around 10 big blinds. The action folded to Martin Jacobson in the big, and he eyed the amount of the shove quickly before calling and revealing {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

Lam showed {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, and the two were off to the races.

The dealer fanned {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, giving Lam a backdoor straight draw, but the {q-Hearts} on the turn eliminated those dreams altogether.

The {3-Diamonds} on the river was a brick as well, and Lam was eliminated. Jacobson chipped up to 131,000.

Trup Queens for West and Waxman

Nível 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Matt Waxman opened to 2,400 under the gun while discussing the contents of the shake he had in front of him. Tim West seemed interested, but not so much in the contents of the shake anymore. West made it 6,200 from the button, and both blinds folded. Waxman made the call to see a flop.

{K-Clubs}{9-Spades}{Q-Spades}

Both players checked and the {Q-Diamonds} hit the turn. Waxman bet out 7,000 and West made the call. The {5-Diamonds} fell on the river and Waxman slid three pink 5,000 chips forward. West instantly called the 15,000 bet, but had to muck his {10-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} as Waxman tabled {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}.

"That's what you get for three-betting that crap" Waxman laughed. "That's a calling hand" he continued, "Right George?". George Danzer nodded and the subject changed back to the contents of the shake again.
