Kamutzki's Back at It

Nível 2 : 25/50, 0 ante
Heinz Kamutzki
Heinz Kamutzki

With a little more luck we could've been looking at two-time bracelet winner Heinz Kamutzki, as the German already made two top 10 finished in no-limit hold'em tournaments. Kamutzki, however wasn't that fortunate, but he's still working on putting together a very impressive summer.

Kamutzki first finished in seventh place in the $3,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event for $45,022 followed by a sixth-place finish yesterday night in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em. Last night he cashed $65,202 and that puts his total career live tournament earnings over $1,000,000.

Today Kamutzki's off to a good start again as he sits on around 7,000 chips already.

It's the End of the World

John Hennigan in a previous event.
John Hennigan in a previous event.

Johnny "World" Hennigan is no longer in his seat, having been replaced by a new player after losing the last of his chips. Hennigan had some great success in this series already. He finished runner-up in an event just like this one last week for $319,993, but his run here today is done.

Greenstein Stacks Them Up

Nível 3 : 50/100, 0 ante
Barry Greenstein
Barry Greenstein

Barry Greenstein tossed in some chips in the small blind to call a raise preflop and four players went to a flop. The dealer dealt out {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Greenstein led out for 400. The player on his left in the big blind pushed all in and everyone folded except for Greenstein, who made the call.

Greenstein: {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The turn of {3-Spades} paired the board but made little difference to the hand. But the {4-Hearts} on the river gave Greenstein the flush and his opponent surrendered all of his chips to Greenstein's stack.
