The {A-Hearts} turn gave the Dutchman the nuts and he managed to hold on a blank river to double up to 40,000

Matros Meets His Maker (Figuratively Speaking)

We just got over in time to see Matt Matros move the last of his money into the middle before the flop with {A-Hearts} {6-Spades} , only to discover that he had run into the {8-Spades} {8-Clubs} of Timothy Adams.

Neither hand improved on the board fo {2-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {7-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} and Matros' run in the 2011 WSOP is over.

Mueller's Aces Cracked

We just saw Greg Mueller put his last few chips into the pot and go busto after he took a crippling beat the hand before.

Apparently Mueller got it all in on the turn (70,000 or so total) with {a-} {a-} vs. {q-} {j-} on a {k-} {8-} {5-} {10-} board only to be killed by a river {9-} . He was left with under 10,000 and forced to go all in on the next hand, which he obviously didn't win and he hits the rail here early on Day 3

When we reached Table 362, the damage had already been done. The board was completed {j-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {8-Spades} {9-Spades} {q-Hearts} . Freddy Deeb had {k-Spades} {k-Hearts} laying in front of him, and Kevin Iacofano had {k-Clubs} {j-Spades} . Deeb raked in the pot, doubling him to 115,000 chips, while Iacofano slipped to just 36,000.

Deeb Pressures Opponent

Yan Nieman opened in early position for 3,300 and Shaun Deeb took a moment before raising to 9,600. Action folded back around to Nieman and he called. The flop came {3-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} , Nieman checked and Deeb bet 7,700. Nieman called and the turn was {10-Hearts} . Nieman checked and Deeb sat for a moment and bet out 18,300. Nieman folded and Deeb is up to 254,000.
