Originally scheduled to take place over one day on December 14, the event has been changed to a two-day event with the first day taking place today, December 12 at 7:00 p.m. local time and the second day taking place December 13 at 3:00 p.m. local time.

The event features a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool and will likely attract a star-studded field full of notable high stakes crushers. Possible entrants include Ben Heath, Espen Jorstad, Justin Bonomo, Ren Lin, Nacho Barbero and Erik Seidel. The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise $5,300 Main Event kicked off on Saturday at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas, and officials took the opportunity to reveal to players what they’ll receive it they’re fortunate enough to finish as the last player standing.

In addition to a seven-figure payday, the winner will receive a new WSOP Paradise Main Event bracelet that is hand-crafted by Jostens and features an island spin on the classic WSOP Main Event bracelet. Custom made from 10-karat yellow gold, just like the summer’s trophy, the WSOP Paradise Main Event bracelet weighs nearly 95 grams and is hand-set with 494 genuine blue topaz round stones.

“The WSOP Main Event bracelet is considered the richest trophy in sports, and our first Main Event bracelet for WSOP Paradise puts a fun spin on the trophy’s legacy,” said WSOP Vice President Gregory Chochon. “This is the World Series of Poker, we’re global and need a proper World Championship trophy to represent the newest home we’ve added to the series. Jostens delivered on that vision once again, and we can’t wait to see who takes home the first-ever WSOP Paradise Main Event bracelet.”

Cho Takes One Early

Nível 1 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

With two players seeing a flop of AK7 and roughly 5,000 in the middle, Justin Bonomo checked from the hijack and Wooram Cho checked from the button.

Both players checked the turn as well leading to a final board of AK710K. Bonomo bet 5,000 and Cho quickly called.

Bonomo tabled K3 for trip kings but Cho showed down KQ for trip kings with a better kicker to take the pot.
