Others to make it through the night were Yuri Dzivielevski (417,000), Mike Watson (335,500), Jesse Lonis (327,500), Jessica Teusl (266,500), Stephen Song (184,500), and GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu (89,000).

Big Slick Does the Trick for Teusl

Nível 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jessica Teusl
Jessica Teusl

How the chips made their way into the middle remains a mystery, but we do know a preflop raising war resulted in Jessica Teusl getting her stack of exactly 100,000 in against

Jessica Teusl: AK
Karen Nazarian: KK

Teusl was looking for some help to stay alive, and she found it when the flop fell 5A6 to pair her ace. Neither the 10 turn nor 7 river changed a thing and Teusl doubled big while Nazarian was left with just 2,000 and would go bust a short time later.

Meanwhile, Isaac Haxton was eliminated from the tournament at a different table.

Back to Back Doubles for Lin

Nível 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Ren Lin
Ren Lin

Ren Lin, who recently entered and was quickly left short-stacked, moved all in for 1,500 and was called by Nikita Kuznetsov on the button and Tyler Cornell in the big blind.

The flop came KK6. Cornell checked, Kuznetsov bet 2,000 and Cornell folded leaving Lin all in and at risk against Kuznetsov.

Ren Lin: A8
Nikita Kuznetsov: Q7

The 3 turn and 6 river were clean for Lin and he quintupled his stack.

The very next hand at the same table saw Lin move all in for 7,500 from under the gun and receive a call from Pieter Aerts in the big blind to put Lin at risk.

Ren Lin: Q10
Pieter Aerts: 75

Lin seemed poised to double when a queen came in the window but Aerts was far from drawing dead on the Q64 flop. Lin managed to fade the straight draw on the J turn and 10 river to secure another full double up for the second hand in a row.

There was 26,600 in the pot and a flop of AQ6 when Yuri Dzivielevski checked from the small blind and 2021 WSOP Main Event champ Koray Aldemir did the same from the big.

After the dealer burned and turned the 5, Dzivielevski bet 13,500 and Aldemir paused for a few beats before calling.

On the 4 river, Dzivielevski set out 40,000, and Aldemir, who had 31,400 behind, had to decide what to do.

Eventually, he chose to preserve his stack by releasing his hand.
