Ruter Takes One Off Deeb

Michael Ruter opened the button to 1,000 before Shaun Deeb called from the small blind and the big blind defended.

The A♥6♠K♦ flop landed and the action quickly checked through to a Q♣ turn. When it checked to Ruter again he opted to bet for 1,600 and only Deeb called.

The blank 2♣ rolled off on the river and the action checked to Ruter for the last time. He sat in the tank for a moment and then sized up with a big wager of 7,200. Deeb went into the tank and attempted to use some table talk to get a read. Eventually he tossed in a call and got the bad news.

Ruter tabled J♦10♠ for the stone cold nuts and Deeb mucked.

Chu Wins a Three-Handed Affair

Warren Chu raised to 700 from under the gun and found callers in both David Ganim from middle position and Mir Gaskari in the big blind before all three headed to a 9♦7♦J♣ flop.

Gaskari and Chu checked the action over to Ganim who counted out a bet of 1,000. Both Gaskari and Chu called to see the turn bring the 8♥.

All three players checked to see the river come the Q♠.

Gaskari checked over to Chu who grabbed chips and made a bet of 4,000. Both of his opponents quickly folded, sending the pot to Chu without showdown.

Ullman paused briefly before reaching into his stack and coming back out with a bet of 7,000. He was quick to fold and send the pot to Ullman with no showdown.
