It's time for Day 2 of the 2023 Unibet Open Bucharest Main Event at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel. And after three flights, 115 players out of 360 entrants have qualified for the rest of the competition. This field generated a total prize pool of €338,400.
For now, Romania's Robert Burlacu is in the lead, as he secured the overall chip lead with 374,000 chips. Second in chips is Sorin Flutur, far behind with 277,000 chips, while Nir Fartuk takes the third place with 245,000.

Among the big stacks, Danut Chisu ended Day 1b with 160,000 chips, a bit more than Unibet ambassador David Lappin (97,500). Yannick Cardot (80,000) also managed to qualify, along with two-time Unibet Open champion Mateusz Moolhuizen (74,000) and 2023 EPT Paris winner Razvan Belea (71,500).
The 115 remaining players will be back in the tournament area at noon local time. Play will resume on Level 12, featuring 1,000/2,500 blinds with a 2,500 big blind ante. They will play on 60-minute levels, and the money will be reached today, with the payouts being announced at the beginning of the day. Then, the goal will be to reach the final table to end Day 2.
