Bonomo Check-Raises His Way to a Pot

Aaron Zang opened to 60,000 in the hijack, Justin Bonomo called from the small blind and the dealer spread out on the flop. Action checked to Zang, he pushed in a continuation bet of 60,000 and Bonomo quickly check-raised to 310,000.

Zang thought for a moment but in the end, let his hand go, shipping the pot to the highest all-time money earner in poker.

DeCarolis Turns a Split into a Runner-Runner Flush

Alfred DeCarolis opened to 150,000 from late position and Stanley Choi shoved his remaining 455,000 from the big blind. DeCarolis snap-called and the two turned over their hands with Choi at risk.

The flop came down and Choi was now drawing to a split at best. A scare landed on the turn when a popped off, giving DeCarolis a flush draw. The unlikely hit the felt as a river card, completing the runner-runner flush for DeCarolis who scooped in the complete pot, eliminating Choi from the tournament.

The dealer fanned out on the flop which looked pretty but changed nothing between the two. A turn card gave Kabrhel some straight outs but the was a brick and DeCarolis took down the pot with his king-high, eliminating another player from the tournament.

Leow Eliminated by Rajkumar

Vivek Rajkumar raised to 70,000 from the button with and Ivan Leow three-bet to 185,000 from the small blind holding .

Rajkumar called, and the flop fell . Leow bet 190,000 and Rajkumar called.

After the hit the turn, Leow bet 225,000 and Rajkumar called again.

The hit the river, and Leow's all in for 215,000 was snap-called by Rajkumar.

Leow saw his two pair was no good against Rajkumar's higher two pair holding pocket aces, and Leow departed in brutal circumstances.

Jason Koon put the rest of his chips into the pot and only one person hooked him up in Bryn Kenney, the two poker giants turned over their cards with Koon at risk of elimination.

The dealer spread out as a flop and Koon was in rough shape. A flipped over on the turn, leaving Koon drawing to just a nine to keep his tournament going. The river was of no help as Kenney scooped the pot, eliminating Koon from the touranment.

Yong Eliminated by Chidwick

Stephen Chidwick raised to 60,000 from the hijack and the action folded to Rob Yong in the big blind.

"He hasn't got a hand," joked Yong.

"Do you want an all-in?" he added before Chidwick smiled and Yong called the raise - sat with a stack just over twenty big blinds.

The flop fell , and Yong check-raised a 40,000 continuation bet by Chidwick to 125,000.

Chidwick thought for 15 seconds before he made it 290,000 and Yong moved all in for around 600,000 total, which Chidwick snap-called.

Yong flipped over for top pair, but was behind to Chidwick's set.

Yong was in real danger of elimination but was given some hope when the hit the turn.

However, the river card was no use to the Dusk Till Dawn owner, and the partypoker partner departed shortly before the first break of the day.
