Down to his last 67,000, Rui Cao faced the raise of Wai Kin Yong in under the gun and moved all in. Once all opponents had folded, Yong called and Cao had a flip for his tournament life.

Mustapha Kanit has been cut back down to starting stack while Bryn Kenney has almost gotten up there again as well.
Kanit raised the cutoff to 11,000 and Kenney called in the big blind, before check-calling a continuation bet worth 11,000 on the flop. Kenney also checked the turn, with Kanit checking behind. The river triggered no betting action either, and Kenney turned over for two pair to win the pot.
After defending his big blind against the under-the-gun raise by Jack Salter and checked a flop of . Salter bet 11,500 and folded to the check-raise shove of Wang. The latter flashed the and Salter joked "I didn't want to see that one."

Level seven has come to an end, and the players have been sent into a 10-minute break. That is more than enough time to grab something from the complimentary buffet before taking on the last two levels of the night. Atop the counts are Elton Tsang, Pratyush Buddiga, Wai Kin Yong and Paul Phua, but it is a close race between the four of them.
With barely any chips in the middle and the board reading , Dario Sammartino bet 16,000 out of the big blind and Daniel Colman was thinking about his next move. Timofey Kuznetsov walked over from his table and chatted with John Juanda. Both agreed in a friendly bet and Kuznetsov said Colman had jack-high, Juanda had all other hands.
Kuznetsov walked back to his table and Colman then called. Sammartino flashed for a bluff and Colman turned over for ... jack high, causing some laughter at the table.
The very next hand, Colman opened to 9,000 from the hijack and Benjamin Wu three-bet to 27,000, Colman called. On the flop, Colman checked and folded to a bet worth 16,000 by Wu.
Richard Yong eventually bought back in for his second bullet and so far all is going well. Yong defended his big blind against a button raise by table big stack Elton Tsang and the flop of went check, check. On the turn, Yong bet 10,000 and Tsang called before then folding to a second bet worth 20,000 on the river.
Rainer Kempe's stack has barely been above the 250,000 at the start and the German can't gain much of a momentum just yet. After a raise by Dario Sammartino in early position, Kempe three-bet to just under 30,000 and Sammartino called. The flop came and Sammartino checked, Kempe continued for 17,000 into a pot of 65,500 and was called.
On the turn and river, the action went check, check, and Sammartino's were good enough to scoop the pot.
After a raise from Jack Salter in the under-the-gun position, a squeeze to 30,000 was in front of Timofey Kuznetsov. Salter wasted little time putting on his sunglasses and moving all in with a fresh starting stack. "But I have a good hand," Kuznetsov said and peeked at his cards twice.
He then mucked them and the table guessed he had ace-king.
One hand later, Kuznetsov raised again and Yu Liang called in the big blind. The flop came and both checked. On the turn, Liang checked and Kuznetsov bet 15,000, which Liang called. After the river, Liang then bet big, making it 75,000 to go, and Kuznetsov gave up the second hand in a row.
After pacing around the tournament area for some time, Jack Salter mentioned that he was hoping to get a seat at the table of Paul Phua, if possible next to Sergio Aido. The first wish was granted, the second however not. Salter got the two seat instead next to Qiang Wang, who has around half of the starting stack remaining.
Another half an hour of the current level, as well as two levels after remain for Day 1, in which the participants can fire unlimited re-entries still. All other interested players can also sign up before the cards are back underway on Day 2.
