Welcome to Day 1a of the 2024 €1,000 WSOPC Sanremo Main Event
“Ciao e benvenuto a Sanremo!” Well known for its beautiful seafront and its music festival, the Italian city has also become an important poker destination thanks to the partnership between Casinò Sanremo and Texapoker.
After last year’s first edition of the World Series of Poker Circuit Sanremo, eight rings are in play again this year from the 1st to the 11th of November. A few days ago, former dealer Rebecca Rivoli won Event #1, the €250 WSOPC Cup for €26,000, before Georgios Tsouloftas took down Event #3, the €300 WSOPC Mystery Bounty.
He secured a total of €20,950 and his second WSOPC ring, having previously won the 2023 €1,000 WSOPC Sanremo Main Event for €120,000. 906 entrants were recorded in the 2023 Main Event, generating a total prize pool of €766,476.
