Star-Studded Final Table in Event #4: $50,000 NLH

Nível 13 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Selahaddin Bedir
Selahaddin Bedir

With around 25 minutes left of Level 13, the official final table of Event #4: $50,000 NLH has been reached. The first tournament of the Super High Roller Bowl Europe with this buy-in attracted 39 players who reentered 13 times to get to 52 entries. A prize pool of $2,600,000 was collected and eight players would walk away in the money. When the curtains close for this event, the winner will have laid claim to that first-place prize of $832,000.

The local favorite, Selahaddin Bedir will be coming back as the chip leader after finishing as the runner-up to Johan Guilbert yesterday. He scored his biggest live cash when he won $364,500 but is in pole position to better his personal record.

Albert Daher joined the festivities today and not doing too bad for his first tournament in the series. With almost $4 million in live tournament winnings, Daher is no stranger to the high roller tournaments. Joining them in the top three is Seth Davies. Davies had a bit of an up and down day but managed to build his stack after busting earlier on the day.

Bedir and Davies have made two final tables now but they're not the only ones. Phil Ivey, Saman Nakhjavani, and Danny Tang all did the same although Ivey won the first event of the series for $408,000. Jake Schindler also rocked up for the first time today and although he was short at one point, he managed to make some moves at the right time to earn his spot at the final table.

Ivey was responsible for bursting the bubble when he took out Laszlo Bujtas with ace-king and flopped top pair. Bedir had more than 2.5 million when he doubled up Nakhjavani. His flopped two pair couldn't beat the set the Iranian had hit.

But it would be Schindler who would ensure the day would end as he took out Artur Martirosian in eighth place for $104,000. His ace-jack found another ace on the flop to connect to and leap ahead of the pocket queens of Martirosian. And to make it even prettier, he made it trips on the river.

When play resumes at 1 p.m. local time, they will finish the remainder of Level 13 which has a small blind of 15,000, a big blind of 25,000, and a big blind ante of 25,000. Level duration will remain at 40 minutes and the action can be followed on the PokerGO stream again from 2 p.m. local time.

As usual, the PokerNews live reporting team will be on hand to bring you all the action on a similar delay so you know where you need to be to find out who will take it all down in the end.
