After 16 blinds levels of 25 minutes each, Argentina's "Morrison830" virtually bagged the biggest stack on Day 1 of the SCOOP-92-M: $1,050 NLHE Main Event at PokerStars.

"Morrison830" won the biggest pot of Day 1 of more than 1.7 million after they flopped a set with sevens and got Russia's "Marusia1980" to call off with an over-pair with queens. The Argentinian lost a few small pots near the end of the day but it barely made a dent in their stack.

Also bagging top five stacks were "RealPazman" (second - 1,499,034), "bostero27" (third - 1,382,175), "NicoBoko" (fourth - 1,343,004), and "bartekd31" (1,311,687).

The SCOOP-92-M: $1,050 NLHE Main Event has been a huge success thus far with 5,444 entrants creating a $5,444,000 million prize pool to smash the $5 million guarantee with 1,611 players surviving the first day. The number of entrants, the number of players to start Day 2, and the total prize pool will be determined a few minutes before the start of Day 2 on Monday at 6:05 p.m. BST (1:05 p.m. EDT).

Joris "BillLewinsy" Ruijs, Augusto "Yaguipoker" Hagen, Jakub "Olorionek" Michalak, Eduardo "EduardoGarl@" Garla, Jasper "AppelKruimel" Wetemans, Brunno "botteonpoker" Botteon, Aliaksei "ale6ka" Boika, Angel "atlantaca661" Teicher, and Sean "MonkeyBudg" Prendiville were among the other survivors to survive Day 1 with a big stack.

The top ten is divided between five different flags with two players each from Argentina, Canada, Germany, Poland, and Bulgaria near the top of the pack.

Team PokerStars Update

A dozen PokerStars Ambassadors joined in on the action on Day 1 for 20 total bullets with four players surviving.

Ben "Spraggy" Spragg was the only one of the group to make it through Day 1 with a single bullet and will head into Day 2 with a stack of 377,746. It took the other three ambassadors two bullets each to make it through including Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis (487,031), Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas (294,349), and Sam "SamSquid" Grafton (86,875).

Tom "MajinBoob" Hayward, Georgina "GJReggie" James, Mason "Pye_Face21" Pye, Arlie "Prince Pablo" Shaban, Felix "xflixx" Schneiders, and Lasse "Wistern" Jagd Lauritsen all gave it a shot on Day 1 but didn't make it through. This group can all decide to get in before tomorrow's Day 2 as they didn't burn through their maximum three bullets.

The same can't be said for Fintan "easywithaces" Hand and Parker "tonkaaaa" Talbot who each tried the tournament maximum of three times only to end the day without a stack.

Day 2 Kicks Off on Monday, April 26 at 6:10 p.m. BST

PokerNews will be back on the virtual floor for another full day of action on Day 2 starting at 6:10 p.m. BST (1:10 p.m. EDT). The action will play deep into the money with the second day concluding when the field is down to just 80 remaining players.

Blinds will start at 3,000/6,000 with an ante of 750 and increase every 20 minutes as opposed to the 25-minute levels featured on Day 1.

Be sure to tune back to PokerNews tomorrow for the second of four days of the SCOOP-92-H: $1,050 NLHE Main Event.
