2021 SCOOP

Welcome to Day 1 of the 2021 PokerStars SCOOP-53-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO, High Roller] which is another tournament with a pretty $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. The tournament is scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m. CEST and play through until the final table has been reached.

Dejan "dejanlc357" Kaladjurdjevic already won three events with the High buy-in tag, two of them in the progressive knockout format version, while Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson and Jussi "calvin7v" Nevanlinna both won two. But there are more familiar names who have won a SCOOP title this year, Andy "BowieEffect" Wilson, Maksym "MAMOHT_T" Mamonov, Thiago "KKremate" Crema, Rinat "Zapahzamazki" Lyapin, Pedro "LgwZ" Grochocki, Rasmus "Powergolf" Zerr, Jonah "RaiseUpBlind" Silverstein, and Joao "INeedMassari" Simao for example.

Players will get 250,000 chips in their starting stacks and play 15-minute levels for the first eight levels. The level duration will then increase to 20-minute each until the final table has been reached. Once that stage of the tournament has been reached for Day 2 on Saturday, April 17, the levels will go up to 30 minutes once the remainder of the last level has been played.

Players can reenter up to two times if needed during the first four hours and forty minutes of play. As this is a progressive knockout tournament, all players start with a bounty of $5,000 on their heads. Once a player is eliminated, 50% of their bounty will be added to the bounty of the player who knocked them out and the other half will go to their bankroll.

The final table of this event will be featured on the PokerStars Twitch stream from 7:35 p.m. CEST as there will be a 30-minute security delay due to the fact that there will be cards-up coverage from start to end.

PokerNews will be here from the first table that gets opened until the players virtually bag their chips for Day 2 so make sure to follow along with all the exciting updates.
