Welcome to Day 1 of the 2021 SCOOP-28-H: $1,050 NLHE PKO

2021 SCOOP
2021 SCOOP

The 2021 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) is in full swing and the first week is nearing an end. Well-known high-stakes players from all over the world will be back in action at 1.05 p.m. EST for another Progressive Knockout contest. That's when SCOOP-28-H: $1,050 NLHE PKO will get underway and the event features a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million.

All players start with 100,000 in chips and the levels last 20 minutes each for the entire tournament. The late registration is available for four hours and 45 minutes and during that period, up to two re-entries are available. Day 1 is slated to conclude after seven hours and 45 minutes of poker action.

The popular PKO format will ensure action from start to finish. Each participant starts with a $500 bounty tag to their name and 50% of the bounty will be credited instantly to the winner(s) of the all-in. The remaining 50% of the bounty goes on top of the winner's head, which certainly makes for juicy paydays in the later stages of the event.

Within the first week of the 2021 SCOOP, Dejan "dejanlc357" Kaladjurdjevic has earned three titles already while Jussi "calvin7v" Nevanlinna earned two titles in one day. Other notable champions include Elias "SinKarma" Gutierrez, Ilya "Leqenden" Anatsky, Bruno "great dant" Volkmann, Wiktor "Iimitless" Malinowski, Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos, Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski, Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi, Samuel "€urop€an" Vousden and Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas to name all but a few.

Many of these familiar faces of the international poker scene are expected to be back in action.

The PokerNews team will provide as many key hands as possible from start to finish in this two-day event, which is slated to conclude on Sunday, April 11.
