Veldhuis Eliminated by Kovalski

Nível 24 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante
Veldhuis eliminated by Kovalski
Veldhuis eliminated by Kovalski

Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis had hung around with a short stack for a long time by now and three-bet jammed into a min-raise and three callers while in the big blind. Fabiano "kovalski1" Kovalski had called the initial raise and then isolated successfully.

Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis: {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Fabiano "kovalski1" Kovalski: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}

The {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop gave Veldhuis some further outs but the {10-Diamonds} turn and {10-Clubs} river kept Kovalski's pair in the lead.

"WhatIfGod" Eliminated

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante
WhatIfGod vs zyax
WhatIfGod vs zyax

Two big names of the online poker scene departed recently as Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian vanished, shortly after followed by "WhatIfGod". The 2020 WCOOP Main Event champion got it in preflop in a flip and faced "zyax" in the following showdown.

"WhatIfGod": {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
"zyax": {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The {5-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop spelled trouble for the Swede, who then fell behind on the {q-Hearts} turn. A blank {5-Clubs} followed on the river to eliminate "WhatIfGod".

Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder raised to 75,000 in the cutoff with 64,742 behind and Patrick "Egption" Tardif three-bet to 300,000 in the small blind. Mulder called it off to create the following showdown.

Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder: {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Patrick "Egption" Tardif: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop and {a-Hearts} turn left Mulder in dire shape, and he found no miracle on the {a-Spades} river.

For the Dutchman, it was a busy night yesterday as he was also in contention for a SCOOP title at the same time and finished as the runner-up in SCOOP-29-H: $2,100 NLHE [8-Max].

The final day commences at 1.05 pm EST with the remainder of level 21 at blinds of 10,000-20,000 and a running ante of 2,500.
