"BisouPartout" Leads Final 283 into Day 2 of SCOOP-04-M: $215 NLHE [Progressive KO, Sunday Million SE] with $134,108 Up Top

Nível 30 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

The 2021 Spring Championship of Online Poker on PokerStars has now seen the first day of the SCOOP-04-M: $215 NLHE [Progressive KO, Sunday Million SE], $1.25M Gtd come to an end. A monstrous 12,243 registration buttons were clicked with just 283 finding a Day 2 birth and once the last chance saloon had closed for business it was "BisouPartout" sitting atop the leader board with a hearty 7,716,275 in chips.

"BisouPartout" came out of nowhere to grab the lead heading into the final day, staying under the radar throughout Day 1, but they will definitely be headlining Day 2 with the chip lead stack acquired during the end of the night here on the first day. Nipping at the heels of the leader is Brazil's "Gofaziin26" with 7,215,805 after hitting a couple of big pots to end the night after hovering around average for the better portion of the day. Rounding out the top five are "Valenoze" (6,633,080), "gusneves" (6,432,503), and "Do-u-ont-river" (6,162,533).

"ImTheNuts1" is another player who managed to stir up some monster pots in the last few hands of the night, catapulting them into a top ten stack to finish. A monster double during one of the last hands of the night saw them sail into a healthy-sized stack of 5,399,064. "5,399,064" opened with snowmen, flopped a set, and fired on every street. "Pendall" called every street with a pair of ladies, including an all-in on the river. "ImTheNuts1" scooped with their set, eliminating their opponent during the process of landing a top ten stack to end the night.

The special edition of the Sunday Million saw an outstanding turnout, having 12,243 put up the $215 buy-in to take a shot at the first SCOOP Sunday Million of the series. This created a massive $2,448,600 prize pool, almost doubling the $1.25M guarantee that was set and when the late registration had closed it was deemed that a total of 1,745 players were to find at least a min-cash worth $218 with the eventual champion taking down $134,108 plus the bounties acquired.

Many notable players showed up for this tournament but failed to make it until the end of Day 1 but still managed to cash and that list includes Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas, Tom "MajinBoob" Hayward, Ben "Spraggy" Spragg, Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis, Fintan "EasyWithAces" Hand, and Felix "xflixx" Schneiders.

The 283 survivors are all guaranteed at least a cash worth $453 with a top-nine finish securing at least $9,819. They will be returning Monday, April 05 at 5:05 p.m. UTC to battle it out until an eventual champion is crowned, pulling in the $134,108 first-place money along with bragging rights.

That wraps it up for the PokerNews coverage of Day 1 but tune in tomorrow for all of the coverage of the final day which kicks-off at 5:05 p.m UTC,
