Welcome To Day 1 of the 2020 SCOOP-97-H: $5,200 PLO [6-Max Main Event 2nd Chance]

SCOOP 2020
SCOOP 2020

With the 2020 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) having been recently extended through May 31st, Super Sunday holds three Events with Day 1 of Event #97-H: $5,200 PLO [6-Max, Main Event 2nd Chance] $750k Gtd getting underway at 2:15 p.m. ET.

This two-day event boasts a $750k guaranteed prize pool and like many other SCOOP events, the guarantee is likely to be smashed here as well.

Many of the top pot-limit Omaha players will be sure to find themselves in this tournament in efforts to be crowned a SCOOP champion. This great structure will allow for plenty of hands to be played and includes blind levels of 20 minutes throughout the entirety of Day 1, with an increase to 30 minutes on Day 2. Players will take a seat with a starting stack of 250,000 chips and the blinds will begin at 600/1,200.

Late registration is open for five hours and forty-five minutes, and all players are allowed up to two re-entries (three total bullets) for this event. After the first 21 levels are completed, Day 1 action will commence and all remaining players will return for Day 2 action Monday, May 25th at 2:15 p.m. ET.

Players will get a 60-second time bank from the start of play with an additional 10 seconds coming after the completion of Level 3. After that, an additional 12 seconds will be added every three levels with an additional 90 seconds on top of that once the final table has been reached.

Pot-Limit Omaha is always full of action, and the prestige of adding one's name to the list of SCOOP champions will require the eventual winner to bring their best over two full days at the virtual felt. Some 2020 PLO SCOOP winners so far include the likes of Ole "wizowizo" Schemion, Connor "blanconegro" Drinan and Nicolas "niccc" Chouity.

For everything regarding this year's SCOOP you can visit the respective SCOOP-page on PokerNews, or check PokerStars for all the events and nonstop satellites to hop into the action.

Make sure to come back at 2:15 p.m. ET to find out who will be jumping into this PLO tournament to win their share of the $750,000 guaranteed prize pool as the PokerNews live reporting team will be there to bring you all the action right here.
