"Kukenmuser" Eliminated in 4th Place ($142,100)

Nível 33 : 90,000/180,000, 0 ante
"Kukenmuser"
"Kukenmuser"

"Kukenmuser" opened the action with a raise to 450,000 in the cutoff and action folded around to Connor "blanconegro" Drinan in the big blind, who moved the bet slider as far to the right as he possibly could to make a pot-sized three-bet of 1.44 million. "Kukenmuser" four-bet shoved for 4.17 million and Drinan called.

"Kukenmuser": {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Connor "blanconegro" Drinan: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

"Kukenmuser" was ahead with two aces and remained there on the flop {6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} despite Drinan picking up top pair. However, the turn {8-Spades} gave Drinan tens up and put him out in front. The river {k-Diamonds} was of no avail to "Kukenmuser" and they saw their aces fall to Drinan's two pair, leaving them out of chips to take fourth place in the tournament, good for a payday of $142,100.

Gavin "gavz101" Cochrane Eliminated in 5th Place ($108,157)

Nível 31 : 70,000/140,000, 0 ante
Gavin Cochrane
Gavin Cochrane

Joao "Naza114" Vieira opened the action with a raise to 316,000 in the cutoff and Gavin "gavz101" Cochrane called ;on the button. Jens "Jeans89" Kyllonen "squeezed" in the small blind, making a pot-sized three-bet to 1.405 million. Vieira folded and Cochrane called, taking action heads up to a flop of {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, where Kyllonen made a pot-sized continuation-bet of 3.267 million.

Cochrane clicked the raise button, going all in for 4.048 million and Kyllonen called.

Gavin "gavz101" Cochrane: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Jens "Jeans89" Kyllonen: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Cochrane had found himself having run top two pair into top set and was drawing thin to stay alive in the tournament. He was drawing dead by the turn {10-Clubs} before the river {5-Hearts} completed the runout to result in his elimination from the tournament in fifth place. Meanwhile, Kyllonen now finds himself firmly atop the chip counts with four players remaining and a stack of 16.3 million.

Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi Eliminated in 6th Place ($82,322)

Nível 31 : 70,000/140,000, 0 ante
Talal Shakerchi
Talal Shakerchi

Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi made a pot-sized raise of 490,000 under the gun for over two-thirds of his stack and action folded around to Joao "Naza114" Vieira in the big blind, who called. The flop came {6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Vieira led out with a bet of 280,000, more than enough to put Shakerchi all in. Shakerchi called all in for 214,000 and both players' hands were tabled.

Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Joao "Naza114" Vieira: {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}

Vieira flopped a pair of sixes and had pulled out in front. Shakerchi was unable to find any luck on the remainder of the runout as the turn {k-Clubs} and river {9-Clubs} left him unpaired as Vieira improved to nines up and scored his second knockout of the day, sending Shakerchi to the virtual rail in sixth place.

Linus Loeliger
Linus Loeliger

Joao "Naza114" Vieira raised to 271000 in the hijack and Linus "LLinusLLove" Loeliger three-bet all in for 980,000. Action folded back to Vieira and he called.

Linus "LLinusLLove" Loeliger: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Joao "Naza114" Vieira: {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The flop came {7-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Spades} to give Vieira a pair of tens as well as both a flush draw and gutshot straight draw to go with it. Loeliger picked up extra straight and flush outs to the nuts on the turn {5-Clubs}, but the river {3-Hearts} bricked out and left him with nothing more than ace-king high. The pot was shipped to Vieira as Loeliger became the first casualty on Day 3 of the tournament, taking seventh place for $66,762.

Joao Vieira

Two full days have been played to their conclusion in the PokerStars 2020 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP)-75-H: $10,300 PLO 6-Max Main Event and just seven players remain with their sights set upon the first of three Pot-Limit Omaha Main Event titles in the 2020 version of PokerStars’ iconic SCOOP series that is set to begin at 1:05 p.m. ET/7:05 p.m. CET.

A total of 159 entries from 98 players were logged in the tournament, which featured a registration period that was open until the beginning of Day 2. Up to three entries were allowed, and Connor “blanconegro” Drinan was one of those to need all three bullets before beginning to make a run. Drinan enters the final table of seven with the chip lead, taking a stack of 12.09 million into the day after surging to the top of the leader board during the last level of play on Day 2.

Jens “Jeans89” Kyllonen (8.59 million) and Joao “Naza114” Vieira (6.66 million) follow Drinan in the counts. Vieira is looking for his second SCOOP title of the series after taking down Event #33-M, a $1,050 NLHE Progressive Knockout for $186.342 nearly two weeks ago. This will be his second appearance at a SCOOP-H final table in the past week after taking second place in Event #62-H ($5,200 NLHE PKO High Roller) for $102,900 last Friday.

A trio of players from the United Kingdom in ”Kukenmuser”, Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane, and Talal “raidalot” Shakerchi enter the final table fourth-through-sixth in chips, and Day 1 Chip Leader Linus “LLinusLLove” Loeliger rounds out the Day 3 roster, coming into the day with 1.17 million.

Play will resume at 1:05 p.m. ET/7:05 p.m. CET in Level 29 with blinds of 50,000/100,000. All seven remaining players are guaranteed at least $66,762, and levels will remain 30 minutes in length for the remainder of the tournament when the top prize of $332,264 has been claimed.

Who will be the first high-stakes PLO Main Event champion of the series? Keep it at PokerNews for updates every step of the way as that question is answered.
