Emery Flops Boat to Bust Opponent

After some preflop action, Shaun Emery and his opponent found themselves all in, with Emery covering.

Emery flipped over 9♥9♦ while his opponent tabled K♣Q♠.

The flop came out 2♥2♠9♣ to instantly give Emery a full house, and the 8♣ on the turn left his opponent drawing dead. The Q♥ [on the river seal3ed the deal and Emery was pushed the pot as the opposing player exited the tournament area.

"Phew, thank God that nine came or that queen would have broken me!" Emery sighed with relief as he stacked his new chips.

Back-to-Back Bustouts for Smith

Zachary Smith opened to 11,000 and then was quickly three-bet to 80,000 by a player to his left who moved all in. The action folded back around to Smith who snap-called to put him at risk of elimination.

Smith tabled 7♠7♣ while his opponent flipped over A♠K♣.

The board ran out 9♣2♠6♣3♠Q♠ for Smith's sevens to hold and he was pushed the pot while his opponent made his exit.

"Hey! You got a lot of chips, you better start busting people over there!" David Soskin yells from another table.

"Hey man, I just busted someone and I'm about to do it again!" Smith replied as he called another all-in to put a player at risk.

This time he was the one to flip over A♥K♥ while the other player held K♦K♣ for a big pair.

The runout was extremely friendly to Smith as it came Q♠10♦8♥Q♥J♥ to give him an ace-high flush to send his opponent to the rail and he raked in another pot.

"Sometimes a Nit Finds a Way"

After a raise preflop from David Soskin on the button, Steven Glasscock, Yahya Aamer, and Pam Belote all made the call.

"Pick me, pick me!" Soskin shouts as he does his signature mating call.

The flop comes out Q♦4♥6♠ and the action is checked to Soskin who then quickly announced that he was all in for 153,000.

After some thought, Glasscock made the call to put him at risk while Aamer quickly got out of the way. The action was then on Belote who went deep into the tank to consider her options. In the end, she decided to fold five-seven for an open-ended straight draw while the other two tabled their hands.

Glasscock tabled K♦Q♦ for top pair of queens but it was no good as Soskin dramatically flipped over A♠A♣ for a superior pair of aces.
The turn A♥ further improved him to top set and locked up the hand for him as the board completed with the 9♣. He was then pushed the massive pot for more than a double to rocket him to 345,000.

"Sometimes a nit finds a way," Glasscock repeated his statement from earlier as Soskin stacked up his chips.

"Hey! I'm a loose-aggressive player, how can I be a nit!" Soskin laughed.
