WCOOP 2022
WCOOP 2022

After the dust settled on Day 1 in the $10,300 NLH World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Main Event on PokerStars, Thorsten "juicetus" Legit came out on top with an impressive stack of 2,791,391, more than 200 big blinds.

The field saw 536 entrants who rebought 168 times to create a prize pool of $7,040,000, already surpassing their guarantee. Late registration is still open until the start of Day 2 at 5:35 p.m. GMT so there is still time to jump in the action and have a chance at WCOOP glory.

Some more notables who managed to find a bag included Team PokerStars Pro Sam "SamSquid" Grafton (1,372,605), online regular Neville "NevilleWeeee" Costa (1,632,644), and high stakes crusher Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos (875,068).
