As expected, 9 players found a bag to end Day 2 of WCOOP-34-M: $2,100 NLHE [8-Max], and Fabiano "Kovalski1" Kovalski ended up on top of the pile. The Brazilian finished the day with 14,401,864, more than 3 million ahead of "3DTemujiN" in second. The game started with 614 entries, but the are now down to the business end of the $1,228,000 prize pool, with the whole final table guaranteed at least $19,000.

Team PokerStars pro Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis found a bag for the final table as well, surviving on fumes late in Day 2 until he could catch a double to find some breathing room. He got a couple small button shoves through to stay even before he hit a set of fives against top pair for "iamivar" to double into a safer position.

From there, Veldhuis comfortably bagged a middle stack in 5th place and just under 5 million. Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro and Jerry "Perrymejsen" Odeen are among the other notables to make the final nine on Day 3.
