What is the Best Value in Poker This Week?

The first-ever Online World Series of Poker (WSOP) for international players is in full swing with GGPoker hosting 54 of the 85 bracelet events from July 19 to Sept. 6.

When searching for value, it isn’t just the buy in I’m looking at. The $400 buy in for the Colossus and Plossus might be a little out of the budget for many players, myself included. That being said, sometimes you have to take some risks and with $4million in guaranteed prize pools, this is the spot I’m choosing this week. Not to mention you can qualify via direct satellites at GGPoker for just $3.24.

The COLOSSUS boasts a massive $3 million guarantee. The tournament features 14 opening flights with at least two running per day. Most flights feature 13 minute blind levels and start with a huge stack of 50k in chips. Re-entry is unlimited during the 3 hour late registration window. If players want to try again another opening day they will bring their best stack forward into Day two.

Now if you prefer 4 cards and still want a bracelet, let me recommend the PLOssus with a $1 million dollar guarantee. Day structure is similar except players will have 15 opening flights. Players have 50k to start with and players can re-enter unlimited times until late reg closes.

If you don’t already have GGPoker be sure to download via PokerNews. You will be entitled to a welcome bonus worth up to $600.
