Banicevic Takes the "German Sandwich"

Igor Kurganov raised to 2,000 and Liv Boeree called, as did Vlado Banicevic in the small blind and Dietrich Fast in the big blind. Boeree said "I like German sandwich", referring to Kurganov and Fast, before she then asked Banicevic where he was from. "Montenegro" was the reply and Boeree added "that's the sauce, the spice."

The flop came [As19h7s] and the action checked to Kurganov, who bet 3,500. Only Banicevic called and the turn and river were then checked. Banicevic flashed and that ended up as the winner.
