It's been quite the year for Georgios Vrakas. The Greek is fresh off a big victory in the €1,100 PokerStars National Championship, where he defeated a 2,117-strong field to grow his bankroll with €338,000. It's not the first time Vrakas has tasted success this year: he also won the €2,200 PokerStars National Championship High-Roller in Barcelona, where he won €330,000. Not too shabby, to say the least.
With back-to-back National success on his resumé, Vrakas is looking to add a Main Event trophy on his mantlepiece as well. On an
