Seated under the gun, Francisco Benitez opened the pot with a raise to 1,000. He picked up no fewer than 4 callers on the 6-handed table: Troy Quenneville (hijack), Sergi Reixach (cutoff) and Francois Billard (big blind).

With about 2,000 in the pot, on a board reading {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}, Oliver Weis checked from the hijack. Isaac Haxton was on the button and bet 1,000. Weis called.

The turn was the {2-Spades}. Weis checked again, and Haxton bet 3,700 this time. Weis went into the tank and eventually called.

The river was the {2-Hearts}. Weis thought for a while and opted to check for a third time. Haxton didn't waste much time and decided to check back.

Weis tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for two pair, nines and deuces with an ace kicker and Haxton mucked his hand.

With about 4,500 in the pot, on a board reading {7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, the big blind checked and Sam Greenwood bet 3,000 from middle position.

Sergi Reixach was on the button and called, and the big blind folded.

The river was the {a-Diamonds}. Greenwood thought for about a minute and then checked. Reixach reached into his stack and fired out a bet of 8,500. Chen checked a third time on the {10-Clubs} river and Haxton followed up his aggression with a bet of 8,000. Chen thought about it for just a bit before he check-raised to 27,000.
