James Chen raised from the button and Troy Quenneville came along from the button. The usual Chen aggression kicked off and Quenneville check-called a bet on the flop and did so again for 55,000 on the
turn.
Quenneville also checked the river and Chen fired massive 155,000. Quenneville eventually called and then saw Chen turn over
for a pair of fives only. Quenneville had that beat with
and claimed a big pot.

On the flop, Smith grabbed some chips and was ready to pay off a double, but the
on the turn caused some gasps as Smith had found the better set. A blank

Troy Quenneville opened the action with a raise from the cutoff and Martin Kozlov shoved for 134,000 from the button. The blinds got out of the way, and Quenneville called to put Kozlov at risk.
Martin Kozlov:
Troy Quenneville:
Kozlov had gotten it in with the best of it, but the flop saw Quenneville improve to a pair of queens. Things got infinitely worse on the
turn, as Kozlov was left drawing dead. An already insignificant
on the river completed the board and Kozlov had to settle for the min cash.

While we missed all of the carnage Dmitry Yurasov had just become the latest paying casualty with Taiwan’s James Chen the man to show the Russian the door.
Chen was kind enough to fill us in on the details and told us Yurasov moved the last of his chips in with ace-jack and he made the call with king-queen.
Chen flopped top two pair when the flop came down and there was no ten or ace on the turn or river and that brings the field down to 24.
