Big Slick Does the Trick for Robert Edelstein

Nível 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

With roughly 3,000 in the pot and a flop of {8-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, Dennis Phillips bet 1,700 from middle position and Robert Edelstein, who was sitting in the cutoff, called.

Phillips then check-called a bet of 1,500 on the {8-Diamonds} turn before both players checked the {J-Diamonds} river. Phillips indicated that he missed, and he mucked when Edelstein rolled over the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} for the win. Edelstein chipped up to 32,000 after the hand while Phillips dropped to 17,000.

Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree Fires Away

Nível 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Denmark's Peter Jaksland raised to 500 from middle position and Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree three-bet to 1,700 from the hijack. Action folded back to Jaksland, and he called to see a {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop.

Jaksland check-called a bet of 1,500 and then check-called one of 4,500 on the {A-Hearts} turn. When the {4-Spades} completed the board on the river, Jaksland checked for a third time and Boeree fired out 11,500.

Jaksland thought long and hard before conceding the hand.

What a Bonk

Nível 3 : 100/200, 25 ante
Tyler Bonkowski
Tyler Bonkowski

Canada's Tyler Bonkowski has had a great career so far, with a WSOP bracelet in the 2011 $3,000 Limit Hold'em event and another close call this past summer at the 2016 WSOP with a third place finish in the $1,500 Limit Hold'em event. Bonkowski rounded out the year by making the final table of the WPT Deepstacks Championship event, finishing in fourth place for just shy of $100,000. His total career earnings are just shy of a million dollars, with his biggest score of $220,000 attached to his bracelet win.

The hijack raised to 550 and Tyler Bonkowski called from the cutoff. The player on the button three-bet to 2,300 and the decision was back on to the hijack who decided to let his hand go. Bonkowski thought about it and opted to call.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Bonkowski checked to his opponent. The button bet 2,500 and Bonkowski called.

The turn was the {J-Spades}. Bonkowski checked for a second time and his opponent bet again. This time he made it 4,400 to go. Bonkowski stared at the board for a few seconds and tossed in some chips for a call.

The river was the {6-Spades}. Bonkowski was the one to take charge this time and led out for 13,500. The button immediately released his hand, sending the pot Bonkowski's way.

We missed the preflop action, but we do know Liv Boeree got her last 12,000 all in preflop against Brazil's Gustavo de Faria Lopes.

Lopes: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Boeree: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Boeree was looking to dodge a seven, which is just what she did after the board ran out {10-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

Aaron Paul

With 4,100 in the pot and a flop of {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, Aaron Paul bet 1,200 from the big blind and Brazil's Joao Alberto Barreto raised the minimum to 2,400. Paul called and then checked the {9-Hearts} on the turn.

Barreto bet 3,200, Paul check-raised to 6,500, and Barreto called to see the {2-Clubs} river. Paul downsized to 6,000 and Barreto quickly called with the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Paul then showed his own ladies with the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

"Well played my friend," said Paul. "That's hilarious. We were both so happy."

Chop it up!

Paul Crushes Rheem on River

Nível 3 : 100/200, 25 ante
Aaron Paul
Aaron Paul

Chino Rheem bet 1,675 from the big blind on a board of {6-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}, and Aaron Paul made it 4,000 to go in the cutoff. Rheem came back with 10,000, and Paul peeled to see the {6-Spades} river. Rheem shoved all in for about 11,000 and got snap-called.

"You got fives full?" Rheem asked.

Instead, it was queens full as the famed actor showed {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. The dealer indicated Rheem had to show, per tournament rules.

"Why?" Rheem asked. "He fucked me."

The three-time World Poker Tour champ flashed what looked like {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a straight that had been crushed on the river and then grabbed his belongings.
