Action was picked up in a hand between Yolanda Jones in early position and another player in middle position.
The board read K♠7♥8♠ and Jones bet 1,200 which her opponent called.
Jones bet once more on the 10♦ turn, this time to the tune of 2,400 and her opponent called again while both players checked the K♥ river.
"I got counterfeit," said Jones as she turned over 8♥7♣ for what was eights and sevens, but turned into kings and eights. It was good against her opponent's J♠6♠ for a missed flush draw and she took down an early pot.
At other tables in the tournament, Alex Fitzgerald and Rudy Cervantes sat down to play.
