Jaime Staples defended the big blind following a raise by Alexander van der Swaluw and a call by Osman Mustanoglu. On the flop, only Staples check-called a bet worth 28,350 by van der Swaluw and checked the on the turn. His opponent fired a bet worth 204,120 with fewer than half a million behind and Staples tank-called.
