With 230,000 in the middle and the turn showing , Christopher Andler checked out of the under-the-gun position and David Peters on the button made it 100,000 to go. Andler called and checked the on the river, prompting a big bet of Peters for 350,000.
That proved to be too much for the 10th place finisher of the €2,700 Warm Up, as Andler sent his cards into the muck.
The board read and there was about 150,000 in the middle already. Alex Foxen had bet 95,000 from the small blind. James Mitchell raised to 225,000 in the big blind. The player on the button quickly folded. Foxen looked at Mitchell but Mitchell didn't show any response. Foxen called.
The on the river completed the board and Foxen checked. Mitchell put in 300,000 without hesitating. Foxen glanced at Mitchell again and then called. Mitchell showed part of his cards but they were only visible to Foxen. Foxen tabled for the flopped trips and that was enough to take down the pot.
Among the early big stacks are Yuliyan Kolev and Ramon Miquel Munoz, the former on almost four starting stacks and the latter on three. Munoz shares a table with partypoker sponsored pro Joni Jouhkimainen, Fraser MacIntyre and Nicolas Chouity.
On the four-way flop of , Jouhkimainen bet 33,000 and Munoz was the only caller, MacIntyre and Chouity folded. The turn was checked and Jouhkimainen check-folded the river to a bet by Munoz.
