Josip Simunic's raise was called by three opponents including Jack Sinclair and the flop came . Only Sinclair in the small blind came along to call the continuation bet of Simunic and the appeared on the turn. Sinclair checked, Simunic bet 75,000 into a pot of around 140,000 and Sinclair opted to check-raise to 250,000.
Simunic was having none of it, though, and the partypoker team online member moved all in. Sinclair gave it some thought and folded.
Filip Hanusek raised to 30,000 from mid-position and next to act was former November niner, Vojtech Ruzicka, in the hijack who raised to 100,000. Ruzicka only just sat down so this was the first hand he was involved in. Action folded back to Hanusek who called.

Ruzicka showed for the flush and Hanusek started counting chips to pay Ruzicka. He threw his cards over the line to muck them but the other players made him aware that he needed to show his hand because it was an all-in and call. Hanusek had called with for the turned pair of aces.
Viktor Blom was eliminated in the €2,700 Warm Up and immediately after registered for Day 1a of the €5,300 Main Event to double up shortly after sitting down with a flopped straight. The table also features partypoker sponsored pro Dzmitry Urbanovich and Dermot Blain, and the latter got into a pot with Blom just now.
On the turn, Blain checked and Blom bet 150,000, Blain called. The fell on the river and Blain checked once more before calling a bet of 325,000 by Blom. The Swede rolled over and Blain mucked for top two pair.
"Why did you have to put out the straight card out there? He could have lost much more," Blom joked to the dealer with a smile on the face.
On the three-way turn of , Martin Weiemann bet and Vlad Darie raised to 170,000. Niall Farrell on the button moved all in to force a quick fold from Weiemann, while Darie needed some more time before coming to the same conclusion. Farrell raked in the pot but remained below the starting stack, which also applies for both of his opponents.

- Steve O'Dwyer just won a pot in the last hand before the break. The pot already contained about 365,000 in it and the player in the small blind had bet 220,000 on the board. O'Dwyer took some time to think, and then decided to call when the break had already started. His opponent tabled for a turned pair of sevens but O'Dwyer had him beat with for the flopped pair of eights and the pot.
Steve O'Dwyer lost a big pot after calling the river bet of Tomasz Chmiel when he was unable to beat the pocket kings of the Pole and dropped to fewer than half the starting stack. Tobias Peters busted, as did Pierre Neuville and Martin Finger with the latter among those to re-enter soon after losing with the first bullet.
James Akenhead raised to 30,000 and Edgard Raffoul in the small blind called. Robert in the big blind three-bet to 62,000 and both opponents called. On the flop the action checked to Akenhead, who continued for 60,000, and just Robert called. After the turn, Robert check-called a bet of 210,000 while having 135,000 behind and barely looked at the board while checking his smart phone.
Robert checked the river and snap-called all in when Akenhead shoved, the Brit mucked to Robert's .
Two tables over, Bartlomiej Machon four-bet preflop to 210,000 and bet the flop before shoving the turn for 496,000 with the . His opponent called but mucked already when the river changed nothing whatsoever. Machon got the full double to two starting stacks.
