At 6.05 p.m. GMT, Day 1 of the PokerStars Blowout Series: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, The Big Blowout!] is set to start the last of the Big Blowouts of this festival with another whopping$5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Event 1 with a buy-in of $109 was won by "pilaa" for $485,827 and Cosmin "UnHuman3" Voinea took down the $215 buy-in event for $632,426 after negotiating a six-way deal. But it would be "Gwolde" who would lay claim to the biggest prize to date in the Big Blowouts with $721,692 after a heads-up deal last Monday.

Everyone who coughs up the $1,050 buy-in will get 25,000 chips in their starting stacks and play 20-minute levels on Day 1. Play will end when 17 levels have been played through to break for Day 2 on Monday, January 18 at 6:10 p.m. GMT. Players can reenter up to three times if things go wrong with any of their previous bullets.

Late registration will be possible for 24 hours once the tournament has started, so until 6:05 p.m. GMT, five minutes before the start of Day 2. The level duration for Day 2 will be reduced to 15 minutes and once the field is reduced to 9 players, Day 2 will break for the final table and the level duration will go up to 30 minutes.

On Day 3, play will continue until a new champion has been crowned with hole cards coverage on the PokerStars Twitch channel and commentary provided by James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton.
