Can I Order Roast Cat and get a Saucer of Milk for my Chicken?

Nível 2

The pots are small and mostly insignificant at the beginning of a heat so table talk is at a high point.

There's something about the corner where Table 5 is situated as - even with a mostly different line up - it's where the chat action is at right now, same as in Heat 1.

The topic of conversation was all about whether it's okay to eat domesticated animals. George Danzer said he grew up on a small farm with chickens and pigs and he sees no difference between them and domesticated animals such as dogs and cats.

Vanessa Selbst is a known animal lover and she said there's a different mindset when talking about animals we've domesticated and that Danzer has no heart because he's German.

The whole conversation had a light-hearted feel about it and it was interesting to witness such conversations rather than the competition strategy that will sure to dominate later on.

Filatov Brings the Gifts

Nível 2

One of Anatoly Filatov's gifts to his tablemates

Team Russia's Anatoly Filatov, who's currently seated at the feature table, just handed out Russian souvenirs to all his opponents. The atmosphere at the table is great, and it's safe to say Filatov is the big entertainer right now.

Khoroshenin Walks Into a Set

Nível 2

Ole Schemion limped in for 200 and Vladimir Troyanoskiy over limped right behind him. Action folded to Andrew Chen in the small blind and Team Canada was now in as well. Oleksii Khoroshenin raised to 1,000 fromn the big blind, just Troyanovskiy made the call.

Khoroshenin checked on {A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, and called Troyanovskiy's 1,000 bet. Khoroshenin check called another 2,600 on the {8-Spades} turn and 5,800 on the {A-Spades} river.

Troyanovskiy tabled {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a flopped set, Khoroshenin mucked. Team Ukraine already down to just 1,100 in chips on Table 1. Team Russia is leading.
